Often cited among the most beautiful train rides in the world, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Here's everything you need to know.
Why Travel by Train?
Unlike a car journey, the train takes you through landscapes inaccessible by road. It offers an unfiltered view of the country's heart, from the emerald green hills of the tea country to the idyllic coastal stretches. The Most Famous Route: Kandy to Ella
This is the journey that dreams are made of. The 7-hour ride is a visual masterpiece. Understanding the Classes
Sri Lankan trains typically have three classes:
